Everlasting Love.

Why do we make such a big deal about one day of the year- that's all about love?

Valentine's Day was yesterday, and I must say while it is nice to have one day in which we celebrate love, this shouldn't be the only day that we are focusing on loving others and showing them how much we care.

There are epic romances, love stories that have captivated hearts, and will continue to make us long for the fairytale romance. Yet, as I recall many romances that are held within the annals of history, I think there is one romance that outweighs them all: That of the love of a Savior for His bride.

"God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

Knowing full well that we had the free choice, to go our own way or choose Him, Christ died on our behalf. He was compelled by the love that He has for us, the overwhelming love that is beyond our comprehension. Think on that for awhile. It will blow you away.

I love this! Everlasting. Endless. Hopeful. Love. For we are the Bride of Christ. He loves us, and it is the most beautiful romance of all. Loving one another all year long....that would be a wonderful thing to behold!
